Eyelid Surgery

General or Local Anesthesia – Outpatient Procedure

Eyelid surgery or blepharoplasty, is performed to remove excess skin and fat pockets in both the upper and lower eyelids, improving the appearance of "lazy eye". It can be done simultaneously with a brow lift, which corrects the sagging or low eyebrow position and frown lines. The incisions are made in the skin folds making them less visible, or through the conjunctiva.
